Quite  a few years , I had a factory sway bar on my 57 300 custom ( wore out)  all aftermarket units were pricey . Went through my sway bar inventory  , found a 68 GTO unit , lined up perfect , tucks in nice to Aframe , Couple of angle iron . That looks like a nice addition to your ’57.  I installed the larger diameter sway bar from a ’55 Country Squire on my ’55 Customline and the overall handling was very noticeable.  I’m guessing that you could also feel the difference.

Back in 1964 I put a 58 Ford station wagon sway bar a bushing’s on my 58 Custom 300. Larger diameter and cornered better.
