I think that '52-'56 are the same on the firewall block off plate but the dash block off is '54 only.

Unless you want 100% original, it probably will be cheaper, and faster, to have them made.

Yes, I want 100% original. I have a temporary one on the car now that I made myself but it doesn't look exactly like the original should.
