Hello   I searched forum for info about how to replace upper bushing. in a 57 type distributor. I have a 56 shop manual but it  looks  like it takes a driver with a expander to catch bottom edge of bushing to drive it out from bottom.. Is  there a post there some place? Thanks

I have been known to tap a bushing, thread in a bolt, and drive the bushing and bolt from the distributor.

Hello  Thanks  Thats perfect solution. Probably  saved me days of thinking how to get it out.  I have drilled out blind bushings but they were in hardened steel, not soft AL Thank  Bill Oregon
