I don't know if their still in business, but TPI (Transmission Parts Inc. ) in Hartford, CT put all new bearings and synchros in my t-85 about 12 years ago. I sold the car about 5 years ago and it's still running fine.

Not near you, but Van Pelt Sales will rebuild it. Turn around time may be lengthy and shipping costs may be an issue. Van Pelt is in Ohio. 513 724-9487

Back in 1967 I took my first T85 o/d apart and replaced a chipped first gear. I had a decent set of tools, I think I had to buy some snap ring pliers. Took the whole thing apart, an old time mechanic told me the synchros were ok. Took the o/d apart, it was good, and put it all back together. I was 17 at time, and while Dad was pretty experienced, he’d never had a trans apart. They’re not rocket science, don’t be afraid to try it yourself.
