For those of you who have done restoration work on frames and underhood, what product(s) have you found to give durable long-term results?
I have used products sold at local auto parts stores on suspension parts in the past. They looked good at application, but finish durability was so-so.

I often use Rustoleum when repainting parts, including suspension parts. Seem to hold up good.

I detailed my chassis and engine bay with Rustoleum 2X semi gloss black. It's been several years now and it's held up very well.
