Thank you guys! I could not find any pictures of my T-5 install in the '55 that showed the bracket position. I guess I am still a bit unsure of some things when dealing with the Y Block. The bellhousing was chrome plated and has a T-10 adapter from a previous owner. It will look good when mated to the 312 that is going to replace the 345 Y when I get it rebuilt. Joe-JDC

I had a car Y Block bellhousing given to me that need several repairs, including a clutch fork pivot bracket. I ordered the bracket, and don't know which way to mount the bracket. Do any of you have a bellhousing lying around that you can check for me? I tried to find a schematic of the bracket, but so far nothing I can verify position. Here is a picture of the temporary install that seems correct, but it needs to be verified. Joe-JDC
