I have decided to upgrade my old Pertronix I and 1.5 Ohm Flame Thrower coil to a Pertroix II.  I have a stock 1957 Ford distributor in my engine with the ball bearing mounted plate and straight style vacumn advance rod.  Does any one know the correct Pertronix II conversion kit number and matching Flame Thrower coil that will work?  The Pertronix literature says my straight arm vacumn advance distributor is a 54-56.  This is clearly wrong as I took my distributor out of a totally unmolested 1957 Ford station wagon.
