about 10 months ago I saw some photos here of how to modify a "B" intake, milling out the center area. As I'm ready to do this on my intake I was looking for this thread but could not find it. Does anyone have any info on this mod or that thread?

That is not the one I was thinking of, I thought it was in the long excellent 292 rebuild thread but I checked and could not find the photos I was thinking of. The one I'm looking for is just one or two photos of the intake looking down at the carb mounting surface nothing about runner porting and whoever posted it had cut the web out between the right and left side a little. I guess that would mean the primary and secondary holes were milled into one also.   
I'll keep looking.
