I believe the power steering cylinder is #B5AZ 3A540-A for a 56.

Thanks cavman, I'll see where that takes me.  I have a repair manual but it doesn't have part numbers.

Summit had a new Lares slave cylinder for 240.00, Mac's ford parts wanted about 800.00 for a rebuilt Ford part.  Ford parts are starting to cost like a Mercedes part.

I bought a new one from Concours 2 years ago when I could not get seals for the one that was on our 56. It’s been perfect. They are over $300 now. I believe the new ones cannot be resealed.
