Let's see if I can do this. Ok, I have my pictures loaded to photobucket. How do I get them to here?

If you look at your album, each picture will have 4 lines of text below it. Copy the one identified as IMG Code and paste it here when you make the post.

And be sure the pictures are resized so they can come up easily for those of us on dial up. If the pictures are more than 600 wide, it will force the text to scroll off of the screen. Resizing the pics to 300 wide will allow you to put a pair of pictures side by side but put a hard return after each second picture to start a new row of pictures so they are not all trying to align in the same row thus forcing the text scrolling issue all over again. If the pictures end up being too large once they are posted, then the pictures can be resized in Photobucket and that resizing will show up on the site automatically without any editing of the post providing you don't change the file name for the picture. Hope that didn’t sound too complicated.

If this works, these are the truck rescue pictures from thursday afternoon. We were going from the track to the motel when the truck stopped running at a stop sign. Charged the battery and it fired up next morning. Here's the famous lunch ladies. Here's Charlie's truck, tough to get into with a stiff leg. The brain trust. Harry and Barb Charlie and Corene The one and only Jerry Truck row Royce's truck Bill and Reed's truck What's with all the funny piping under the hood? Billy's new paint job My enter key stuck and I don't know how to get rid of the blank space. (Dennis. That was sure a lot of hard returns but they are gone now, Ted)

Sorry, I thought I had them sized right. I think one picture didn't show up. Now I got it all screwed up, I'm trying to make them smaller.

Lets see if I can try this, I don't have photo bucket though. It doesn't appear to be working, I press on insert image, select the image and press insert but it takes to long with nothing happening. I only have a hundred or so to insert. at this rate it would be next shooutout before I got them posted.

What photo program are you using? If it has a resample setting reduce the size of the pics to 3-4" and the resolution to about 150-200. Chuck in NH PS Great meeting you at Columbus!

Sounds like the pics are too large to begin with as the site will automatically resize if they are larger than 500X500. If they are resized smaller on your end, they will upload to the site much easier. Likewise, if you’re using Photobucket, they will also display quicker on the site once they have been downsized. 300 wide is typically a good place to start with picture sizing when experimenting. Photobucket is free (subjective term I think) and works really well as the resizing capability is available there.
