It’s 7/16-14 for the bolts holding the transmission to the bellhousing for both the automatic and standard shift transmissions.

Ted would you know offhand what size/thread count bolts are used for the Transmission to bell housing.

Minor correction here as Ford Y bellhousing bolts are 7/16-14. The generally recommended torque specs for 7/16-14 are as follows. Grade 2 - 32 lb/ft Grade 5 – 49 lb/ft Grade 8 – 70 lb/ft

3/8” 16 threads per inch: Grade 2 is 20 grade 5 is 31 for an unplated cap screw. I would also use a split lock washer.

Does anyone have torque spec for bell housing bolts to engine on 312 T-Bird. I checked the shop manual but no luck, or I’m looking in the wrong place.
