By the way, the oval air cleaner has a 2-inch element. A thinner element will not provide enough clearance between air cleaner lid and carburetor bowl vents.

Nice stuff, but expensive. I wanted to buy the Thunderbird oval air cleaner, but couldn't afford it. I ended up buying Billet Specialties oval air cleaner from Summit for about half the price. It looks the same, but without the birds, and the dimensions are the same. Heavy, cast aluminum, not sheet metal. I bought 2 dash birds and epoxied to air cleaner. Birds are smaller. Air cleaner highly polished, looks like jewelry. However, oval air cleaners are flat, no drop base. There is insufficient hood clearance on my 55 Tbird for a carburetor spacer/PCV spacer used when eliminating the draft tube. It will clear with paper gaskets. Will save the oval air cleaner for shows and will run a Summit 14-inch round air cleaner/w 3-inch element and drop base, which has enough hood clearance for 1/2-inch carb spacer. Carburetor is a Holley 4150 Street Avenger 570. Almost all modern carburetors are 3.25-inches tall, from carburetor base to air cleaner/choke horn base, including Holley and Edelbrock.

Yes. I've met them before. I bought a set of their headers and they are excellent. Their products are diverse and nice.
