i was looking at my roof tiara on my 55 crown victoria and was wondering how to paint the spots that are painted black? are there stencils available?what kind of paint,,,,etc  the original pa[nt never peeled just faded away,  whats the best way to do it? around the back window of my 56 customline need trim paint too  just wondering how others have done theirs

I used masking tape and a Kryalon flat black spray can on mine years ago and it still looks pretty good.

i just taped mine off then used self etching primer and then painted it with satin black paint never peeled or faded after 20 years

Might try stripers paint - 1 shot is one brand.  Use wax and grease remover as usual

thanks guys  i wouldnt have thought that the paint would have survived that many years of car washes and summer sun but ,,,, I will do the same,my 56 and 55 are always garaged so that should help a lot.
