Looking for suggestions for a 4 barrel carburator with vacuum secondary to place on a 1957 -312, with the G heads, pretty must stock setup.  Would like to find one that would not require changes to internals as I have no one in area that is a carb. tuner and I am not great at doing internal changes and adjustment. So would like to hear from those that might have found a great working solutions.

Ford/Autolite/Motorcraft 4100 series. Iterations of these were on FOMOCO products from 1957 to the end of the carburetor era. They're dead reliable and may be the closest you can get to fuel injection without actually having fuel injection. Look for one with 1.08 or 1.12 venturies.

Summit copy of the Autolite gets rave reviews here right out of the box. Most use the 600 for daily use. Ted has tests them and the 750 makes great power. They also offer a 500 which would be plenty for many owners and possibly the best for low end torque under 2500-3000 rpm. Everything you see comes in the box. It’s a 500 that’s going on an inline 6 cylinder.

would you have a model or part # so I could look it up?  What seem to be happening is when I wind it out in 1st all is good. When shift to 2nd and do WOT has a cough and slight back fire. But does not happen with a slower peddle. It has the Holley 570 cmf street avenger that came with it   So trying to figure out or maybe switch carb Thanks again for you help.

Your 570 probably just needs some tuning.  You're going to have to learn how to do it because there is no such thing as a ready to run carburetor and the same thing (or some totally different problem) may happen with another carburetor.  The manual for the 570 goes over some initial tuning.  Do that if you have not already.  A book titled How to Super Tune and Modify Holley Carburetors is a good read, to help you understand what you are doing.  While it is focused on Holley Style carbs, the info applies to all so long as you understand the differences in functionality between carbs.
Add an oxygen sensor.  Install it temporarily, if you don't want it to be a permanent fixture.  This makes tuning a lot easier and helps to better understand what is happening.

Hope you can fix what you have as that is usually the least expensive. As for the Summit. Go to the Summitracing.com website and enter Summit Carburetor in the write in box. There are only 3-4 of them. Good luck.
