Hello I am working on an old Case front loader tie rods are shot parts are not available for this machine anyone know of a place that would remanufacture the old ones. I know this is way off topic but I figured with all the knowledge here some one may know of a place. Thanks

I'm not familiar with Case, I have Massey Ferguson.  Are the ends threaded into or onto the tie rods themselves?  I have an old NAPA chassis book that lists them by thread sizes, perhaps a truck or passenger end will fit.  I would think Case would use an existing tie rod end rather than engineer a special one.

I agree with John, it's probably an off the shelf part they used given the relatively low production numbers.  You don't say what model you have, old like a Model D or semi-old like a 530.  For a 530 you might be able to use parts off a 580 with a little modification.  You could always have a machine shop modify something close.  For a pretty exact replacement you could contact Rare Parts in Stockton, CA.  I had the opportunity to tour their facility q couple of years ago and they seem to be able to replicate most steering linkage parts, though I'm sure it comes at a price.

I am helping a friend the machine is buried in snow right now,the joints are on a hydraulic piston assembly that controls steering . I want to thank everyone for the constructive answers you gives me . We were thinking we could have the unit rebuilt and have new joints installed on the ends. It’s on hold until the snow melts.
