To replace the switch can it be done from the top.  (seat and carpet are out)  or does it need to be done from underneath?  Thanks as always.

With the seat and carpet removed, you should be able to see the removable transmission inspection cover on the transmission tunnel. Once the cover is removed, you should be able to access the neutral safety switch.
