engine won't shut down after a run. have a single wire delco alt. 292 with ford dura spark. solenoid is 2 small term. tried removing he 2nd term that gives full 12vwhen cranking.

Supercharged Group: Forum Members Last Active: Last Year Posts: 927, Visits: 190.0K	using a single wire delco alternator.engine idls at 600 it will stop at idl (when alt stops charging) on warm up with choke on high idle won't stop. i cant figure out how the system leaks to keep running when alt charging. replaced off with new that was new 2 months ago ???.
