As one that has taken a ride in Dennis' 3 deuce powered truck, I can attest to the "drive-ability" of what he describes. His Y block performed very, very well!

On my 283” Y , I have plugs in the end carb power valve holes and a 6.5 in the center carb. I’m running .51 jets in all 3 carbs.

Hey Guys, I’m almost finished with my 312 rebuild and scored a Weiand Intake with a ECG-5 primary (1 1/16”), 59 secondary (15/16”) & 8BA secondary (15/16”). I’m looking to rebuild the carbs but I read that the power valves for a three 2 bbl setup should be @ 2.5 hg each & 56 or 57 jets. I guess the best way to figure out the power valve size to to actually measure during load on the engine. But, I’m looking to get it close initially. This sound about right ? Thanks Kevin
