Hi all - Haven't posted here in a long time but thought I'd seek some advice on building a restomod '48 F1. I'm partnering with an experienced restorer to bring this truck back to life...for eventual sale. It's pretty much bare bones; no bed, doors and rear fenders need replacement, cab is intact and solid, currently has a Y-Block that we'll be keeping. We want to build a great running, driving, comfortable truck while retaining it's vintage charm.

Does anyone know of any forums dealing with these trucks? I'm also looking for recommendations of reliable aftermarket parts suppliers.

I've got a '54 Merc that's had substantial work done on it over the years but I've never dealt with a vintage pickup like this. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
