I'm running a diaphragm (Mustang) clutch that during the summer started to slip slightly when under heavy load. This clutch and related parts has only about 5,000 miles on it installed in a 64 F100 with T5 trans and Mummert flywheel.  In another thread I asked for recommendations from other folks running similar clutches and there were a couple reply's favoring the Centerforce dual friction clutch.  I would like to share what I found after pulling the trans and clutch. All the grease in the throw out bearing melted out and of course was flung around. The grease the manufacturer used looked like petroleum jelly. Bearing part number 1625-11 made in Mexico. On another forum I found similar complaints with the same bearing. I since found and ordered a new throw out bearing from a different manufacturer and still plan on installing a new clutch since the present one is contaminated.  We'll wait and see what the new bearing looks like.
