I have a couple of 1955 and 1956 Thunderbirds.  I try to keep them original but the vacuum advance for those years are not available. Does anyone have a source for getting the vacuum advance rebuilt?  The 55's are a single diaphragm while the 56 is a dual diaphragm.  Thank you!!

Don Hyde in Texas

Is this info available on their site or does one have to be a member to access it? And does he rebuild both single and double diaphragm?

KULTULZ.  Don Hyde seems to keep a low profile.  Owner of FordCraft.  No Internet address or web site that I know of.  Fax number (972) 423-4636.  Address to write to 124 Ridgeview Drive, Plano, Texas 75094-3218  Phone number 972-423-4636.

Extremely knowledgeable about Ford y-block related subjects and Ford Thunderbirds.  Wonderful person to turn to for advice, technical information, and parts!

Hope this helps.   Smile
