A while back I found some engine stands made yor Y-Blocks that were reasonably priced.  I'm looking for the type to store an engine on or for use in transporting.  I have looked and can't find them now.  Any one know who makes these? or where I can find them?

Thanks,

Paul,

If they are the ones I remember that feautured on eBay they were very simple, 4 lengths of box section and a piece of flat plate, 1 length on its side one upright in the middle bevelled with the flat plate attached at the angle of the engine mount attaching point . very simple but effective. I cant find a picture though...Hehe

Eddie.  Got a picture?  Here’s a couple of different stands I’ve done for the Y in the past just for ideas if you’ve got some scrap iron sitting loose and a welder.

Thanks Guy's,

The eBay item is exactly what I need.  I am not a welder or fabricating type guy, although I worked all my life in sales, and some may say I have fabricated something along the way Smile .

Yeah, those stands from Stumpy's Fabrication work just fine. Reasonable price and easy to deal with.

Ted, I've been dying to ask about the elec water pump and those valve cover vents since you posted your pictures. My home computer crashed two weeks ago and just got back up tonight. I've been able to read the forum from work, but National Guard Bureau has us blocked so we can't log into an outside site. Where did you get the vents (I've got to have a set) and tell us about the elec water pump.
