Had a friend put a kit in a swap meet 750. Bolted it on and turned on the electric pump and had fuel pouring out of both float adjustment screws. Friend is checking it out now. I'm thinking bad neelle and seats or they were somehow not installed properly? Ideas?

That's where I would start. Remove the bowls and check them and preset the floats while they are off.

Your floats are too high or your needle and seats were not installed right.  There is a sight hole in the side of a Holley carb bowl.  Adjust your float level so fuel is at this level. 

You did say that fuel was coming from the float adjuster screws so I’ll start there.  There are two gaskets at that location so those are required.  There’s one gasket below the slotted washer and another below the tightening screw.  Those two gaskets are different from each other and are specific to each location.  If either the fuel bowl top or the slotted washer that fits at the top of the needle seat assembly has been dinged or are not perfectly flat, then fuel can still leak past the gaskets.  It’s important that those gasket locations be perfectly flat.

Assuming the two adjuster screw gaskets are properly fitted and sealing, then stripped threads in the fuel bowl where the needle seat assembly screws in can allow fuel to bypass the needle seat itself.  Stripped threads happens from over-tightening the adjuster screw.  Also a consideration is a missing or defective O ring on the needle seat itself which will have the bowl overfilling just like the stripped thread scenario.  In this case, the fuel will either come out the main body vent hole or pour excessively through the fuel discharge nozzles at the venturies.
