Coming soon to a Y-Block near you. These are the cores samples of the new single plane intake manifold.
This is what the runners will look like.
The finished pattern is at the foundry so it won't be too long before some are finished.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/a19ef099-749b-4070-8337-aba3.jpg

Awesome.
Looks a lot like the fabricated intake on Tim's Bonneville engine - that must have been a prototype.

Yes it was. We learned a lot about single plane intakes and finally found a shape that worked on Todd's Falcon engine. That's the one Tim has now.
Used that information on this cast manifold.

Be interested to see how you gate it, John.

Frank, Edelbrock always pours intake manifolds upside down.
There is a riser that straddles each of the the 4 core legs..
I don't remember how many down sprews there are.
Edelbrock laid out the gating and Scott Powers did the work.

How tall is it compared to your high rise dual plane intake.
