Check EBAY and Craigslist. There are some great deals there some times. But be wary. Maybe someone local could check them out first. I found this one quickly and it looks like a good deal. https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cto/d/middleboro-1956-ford-fairlane-2dr/6913961180.html

About 4 or 5 years ago a young guy my daughter knew found a 56 customline in eastern montana, was in really good original condition.you know the story: going to put in a big block buick engine and have an awesome street rod. after his butchering my brother bought it fo $900 .he finally sold it for the same price after he realized how much work it would take to fix it. the guy cut the entire front frame off and pretty much ruined that beautiful car! They are hard to find, but was thinking a guy could just put customline stainless on a victoria ,right? Just a thought.

Mostly finished, he only wants a Y block and automatic, and must be drivable.

That model is a hard find. And sometimes pricey.
