I don't know positively; but, think that Ford at the time would have also shared the same King Seeley guage systems for both "Ford" & "Merc" vehicles, as they did with many other parts: If it were me, I'd just give it at try.

Looking for an original Sending Unit for 1956 Ford Passenger Car. I found a used One at a Swap Meet but it is for 1956 Mercury. Is the Electrical Part the same for all 1956 Passenger Cars other than the Float Arm which should be able to change for correct Float Length?
