i am thinking of using champion f11yc plugs that are on the shelf but those plugs had a bad reputation at one stage.any thoughts???

It depends on how and where you drive your car. F11yc are a cold plug, best for highway driving best at speeds above 45 MPH,, they my tend to foul in stop and go driving. I have a set of cold plugs in my car, but to go most anywhere around here the best route is #95 or #15.

On a street engine with modest compression lean toward the hotter rather than the colder plug.. Keeps them from fouling

I like Autolite 46 for around town, I use 45 because I do a lot of long distance hiway but haven't had a problem around town with them.
