Made a run to the Jalopy Showdown in Penn yesterday. Weather was great. Car was running well. Highways were fast 75-85 mph. Had a great time at the Showdown there were 4 Yblock powered hotrods there (sorry took no pictures). Round trip was 360 miles. Got 17.8 mpg. Not bad for an .80 over 312 with my twin throttle body fuel injection set up and 2.78 gears. Great day in the convertible. MIKE

Mike, still lovin his 57 t'bird after 53 years!

When I made the run back home from Cincinatti last year with my Eaton built 325 Y-block and 4-71 supercharger with a 3:80 rear end and a AOD transmission I was shocked to average just under 18 mpg.  Vicky loves the highway it seems.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/8a0034b6-1173-48e7-913b-8779.jpg

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
