What is the largest exhaust pipe size I can get to work on a 56 Fairlane ? Clearance on the down pipe from the manifold where it goes through the frame is the issue. Thanks

I used to run 2 inch, but I'm a restorer not a hotroder. I think you can run 2.25 if you can find the pipe.
