I have done the swap to later Holley and Distributor on 56 with 12 Volts and originally a 4 bbl with Fordomatic. I have a Guy asking Me about converting a 55 with 2 bbl and Fordomatic. Will the later Distributor work with 6 Volts? What has to be changed as far as Linkage for the later 4bbl  with Fordomatic. If I recall the existing Linkage for 2 bbl is on the opposite Side of Carburetor?

I have the later distributor on my 239. I’m still 6 volts. Only change was to the 13 tooth gear.

That's what I thought. The Link from Bellcrank to Carb is on the opposite Side for 2 BBL
