Hello again as everyone knows the Windows on the 1956 ford are trimmed with fuzzies that are stapled in, can I get some ideas from some of the guys who have installed new seals as to how to get the staple tight . Does anyone make a pair of pliers or maybe a modified vise grip to set the staple. Thanks for any info

I bought new ones for mine. I marked and drilled holes in the "fuzzies" to match the holes in the window trim; the staples came with the ones I bought. I used needle nose pliers to "roll" the staples in holding them tight with another pair, Some rolled inside and some I rolled outside. when I needed a few extra I made them from a paper clip. They are hidden in the fuzz. Takes a little time but I didn't have the $10 million dollar press Henry had.

There are some out there that have mounting tabs on them. I'm not sure who had them but it was one of the bigger suppliers like Mac's or Dennis Carpenter.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

years ago when I built my '40 coupe street rod I tossed the staples and used a small, short recessed flathead sheet metal screw to attach the window anti-rattlers. They bury themselves in the fuzzie like the staple does.

Black rivets would work too.

I guess those are both options but i think it would scratch the glass going up and down over the long term

There is a better way. The "fuzzies" on my car (56 Vic) are glued in. I will get the name tomorrow. It is a body shop item. Works great Jim
