It was a long day yesterday, but the new engine is now in the car.  I have never installed an engine and transmission together, so we were a bit nervous.  All worked out and we didn't have to call the EMTs once.  Thought you might like some pics.

I didn't always have such a nice shop to work in.  The guy in the photo is my buddy Joe.  Joe is a retired machinist.  He sold his business a few years ago and built his dream garage.  He has a small collection of Fords and I love working on them. It's great working in an air conditioned garage instead of the laying in the dirt.  If we need anything custom, he whips it up on his bridgeport.  The TBird is mine.
