I second SMS Auto Fabrics. I was looking at Lebaron Bonney and they have good stuff but the material for my 56 the door panel material has huge bricks instead of the tiny bricks like my original has and SMS claims they have the correct material for mine. They didn't send me a sample of door panel material but I think I will be using SMS myself

It’s been a few years since I worked with them, but I had lots of problems with SMS. Serious delays and some embossed door panel material where the embossing was not consistent throughout the material.

As Mike says, SMS is a maybe for materials. Some years ago I bought seat inset material, Black w/ Silver shadow fabric for 57 Ford seats. First the materials were from 2 different lots & while close to original (they said it was exact) it did not have the thin blue thread in the background like the original material. They replaced some of the mismatching material promply & the price was reasonable, but while close to the original pattern it's flatter looking & not exact when compared to an original piece..

Attached is a photo of 56 Peacock cloth from SMS. The design is correct for a 55 convertible not my 56 Victoria but it was what I wanted. They are VERY proud for their material if you know what that means...

Lord..."Design" is the keyword I believe you missed. Yes 55 Converts were all vinyl. Like I said it was what I wanted in my 56. I always liked the look of my dads 55 which he bought new and we sold in 63.
