Miker, are you saying that you just drill a hole in a regular valley pan that doesn't have a baffle and install the grommet? Is there no problem with oil getting in it?

I used the previous version of their grommet, looked more like what I’d call a “duck bill” on both a stock bird cover and a finned aluminum cover. Worked fine till I went to the hi volume/pressure oil pump. And the supercharger and cam, and started winging it past 5500 rpm. Then I started to suck oil in. I added a baffle in the aluminum cover, but I’m still using one of those grommets. They’re made to go in a valve cover, but there’s a lot of oil flying around in most of those, too.
On a stock motor, I didn’t have a problem. RPM and boost complicated things.

I got the Grommets. I assume You still need another Grommet to fit the PCV and fit inside this One or will the PCV fit as is? Mine is just Stock Motor so I think this will work for Me in the Valley Cover.

Those are usually designed for a 1 1/4" hole. However, there can be quite a difference from one grommet to another. Measure the diameter of the grommet with a caliper, use a hole saw which is about a size under the desired diameter and then use a dremel to fit it to the grommet. That way you avoid making the hole to big. If you use a 1 1/4" hole saw, it will be too big because hole saws are not extremely accurate cutting devices and the fact that the grommet may actually be a little smaller could make matters worse.

Sorry for taking this Topic away from original Posting. Does the PCV fit in this Grommet once installed or am I going to need another smaller Grommet to fit inside this One? I haven't really checked it as I am not installing in yet.
