The picture showing the Flattie with the pair of air cleaners looks possibly like the older Stelling air cleaners which were taller than the Spotlite Kustom air cleaners that are now available.  The Spotlite air cleaner assemblies will fit the standard Teapot 4V carbs and therefore should fit the model 1901 2V carbs.  The Spotlite air cleaners however do not fit the 1956 Lincoln Teapot 4V carbs and these carbs are simply taller.  The older Stelling air cleaners fits both heights of Teapot 4V carbs (’54-’56 Ford & Mercury, & ‘56 Lincoln) while the Spotlite air cleaners are restricted to the standard height Teapots.

Here’s an alternative air cleaner setup currently available on EBay.

I'm talking the holley 1901. It measures out as a 5" flange, so a 5 1/8" should work but the hard part is the 4 1/4" of accelerator pump that sticks above the flange. Also i'm running them 2x2 so i can only fit 8 1/4" of diameter before they hit too.

Thoughts?
