You might already know, but the ratios for 55 Birds are as follows:
3 speed 3.73 (410 optional?) 3 speed O/D 3.92 Automatic 3.31
If you have an open (non-posi) rear, then mark the yoke and ONE tire (keep the other tire from rotating) and turn the ONE tire two full turns while counting the revolutions the yoke rotates-this is your ratio
Simply put, positraction, you turn both tires one full turn, non positraction, turn one tire two full turns.
