Just below the gold band at the top of the page there is a link "Explore". It opens a drop down menu and search is there.

Strange, mine doesn't say Explore, it just has a box with three bars for the drop down menue

Going by the start menu button in your screen shot, you're using a pretty old version of Windows, which could have something to do with it displaying differently.  Still valid, though, since a lot of people do run older versions.  The mobile site will be different, yet again.
