I bought it polished, huge digit in it the size of a silver dollar, bird emblems were ground down so far I couldn't use red paint on them to highlight the eyes. I don't mind paying for quality parts, but this was a waste of money.

YBG did remind me that I did buy an aluminum T-Stat housing / fuel log combo a long time ago from REX HP. The casting was unpolished with many pits that I tried to polish out but couldn't. I wound-up never using that part.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. YBG, did you get whatever you bought from Rex polished? Was that the problem or was it the casting in general?

If you're looking for driver quality it's ok, I was after show quality or at least good quality. what I received was less than either option, just my opinion

Yes, Gord McMillan is good to work with. I bought my entire VS-57 bracket kit from him. Good quality parts, but I had to sell the entire set-up because it wouldn't fit in the engine bay of my 37 coupe.

Hi Does anyone have any experience with Rex High Performance out of Canada? I saw this air cleaner they make that matches the T-bird valve covers. Pretty pricey so I'm not sure I will pull the trigger. Thanks for any info. http://www.rexhp.com/airfilters.html
