No Problem Paul. Thanks for suggestion. I have located a good used Passenger Car One Locally so I should be good.

John Mummert has a dipstick tube for a front sump pan

Paul I am working on the Transmission Dipstick Tube. The Nut flair  is damaged and it won't stop dripping Transmission Fluid. Trying to come up with a Replacement Tube because the Nut is not replaceable unless someone knows a way to do it. I have another Tube but its been crushed and not useable.

Thanks. I am hoping someone can tell Me how close the Tubes are as far as will the T-Bird One fit the Passenger Car. Hard to understand why they would repro the Bird One but not the Passenger Car Tube. They also have the correct Repro  Dipstick available to go with the Tube. If I knew I could use the Tube I would buy both so reading is correct. NPD and Larry's both show a Picture of the Repro Tube.

If you buy the repro, be sure to compare the lengths of the two tubes.  If they are different length, you will have to make an adjustment in the dipstick length to get a proper reading of fluid level.

I would take a correct used One for Passenger Car as long as its good. If the T-Bird One will work the Repro new Ones are about $25.00 which is very fair.

As far as I know the distance from the dip stick hole to the back of the block is the same. I would expect they are interchangeable. I'll bet if you ask Carl Lynn he'll have one.

I am looking for a replacement Transmission Dipstick Tube for my 56 with Fordomatic. I see there is a new Repro available for 55-57 Thunderbird. Looks similar to Passenger car .Tube. Does anyone know if the T-Bird One willwork on Passenger car? The Nut on mine is damaged and having trouble getting it to stop dripping.
