The Holley 80GPH pump runs about 40GPH at the sort of pressure wanted for a 4 barrel carburetor situation. That is enough fuel for 300 hp - the Ford 428 application was for 335.  I plumbed mine with 5/16 hard line up to the filter and over to the single inlet Holley 4160 carb. Huge lines work well on race engines - but all of our outfits have pretty small needles and seats for the street machines.
