I am trying to re-install the Ignition Switch Assembly back in the Dashboard. Seems like You need 3 Hands to line it up and push it against Spring Pressure and turn the locking Bezel back on the Switch to hold it in Place. Anyone have any Tips? Update--got it in. Awkward place to get your Hand into.

Yeah - it's a struggle. I had the same problem but I did get it in.

If you don't have the tool you need it. I too was having trouble on my 56. After a few times, I closely compared and the new and old one. There were very slight differences and when I finally saw them I took a small file and made the notches on the new exactly the same as the old and it went right in. Good luck.

I got it back in. Like I said You almost need 3 Hands to hold everything in place to get the retainer ring back on. Would be much easier if they had put the Ignition Switch to the right of the Steering Column.
