Just getting things buttoned up. Tomorrow will be the day we tighten all screws and top off fluids. Head to the salt on the 8th of Aug.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/9a124a67-3a2f-48b4-918a-2f36.jpg

Welcome back Tim. Can't wait to see updates on the roadster. Your Uni is one of my favorites so I'm sure this car will be just as nice.

Okay, so now that I have been playing around with the computer I have been able to log into my old profile. I don't mind having a split personality but I will probably just continue to post as mctim. :-)

It's been a while since I have been active here, no real good reason, just busy and hadn't been able to log in. So I just thought I would drop by to show a project that is in the works, some of you have seen it on FB others haven't but I have put the pickup on the back burner for a while  as I am looking to better 200 on the salt and I don't think it will happen with a Y-Block in a barn door.  I purchased this Roadster back in Jan. to run in D/GR class with the 304ci Y that has been powering the Uni for the last six years (in one form or another). I am working hard to have it ready for Speed Week 2018 and think it will happen, just have a few things to finish up. This year will be run as a "shake down" year with my old dragster engine and I hope to run at least 175. We will see. Gotta leave room to improve as I hear another Y powered roadster is scheduled to hit the salt next year. ;-) Cheers!http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/a7f3255b-f24f-4183-aef6-cf48.jpghttp://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/fb06389f-0246-4cc0-94e1-569a.jpg
