I'll be installing KMC wheels for my truck but I want to change my current mud tires into street tires and I'm not exactly sure which set to get. Toyo and Mickey Thompson tires are currently what I have in mind. I'm open to any suggestions though.

Wheel size will be a player as far as what is available.  Truck usage will also need to be considered.  Are you going to use it as a truck, where a truck / SUV tire will be more appropriate or, like most will it be for show where a more performance oriented car tire will be sufficient?

I recently got a set of BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 A/S for my truck, car tires.  I am very satisfied with the wet road performance of those.  Otherwise, I can't tell much difference - I'm sure the tires are not the limiting component, considering the horse and buggy suspension.  They are on 17" rims, which is currently the best size for options and price for car tires.

Like Charlie said, wheel size and usage are something we have to know. Putting your location in would help also.
