. I think You are correct. It appears there is a mistake in their Part #. Should be B5AZ-14A701- B. Their Part # is B5AZ-14A701-A. NPD has the same Item as Macs identified as a Power Seat Switch also. There is a NOS correct Switch on Ebay. Item # 311536647070. VERY Pricey though. That's the One pictured. Supposed to be NOS with Box.

Thanks. The only one I found at Macs looked like the window switch. The one on mine was a toggle switch. I recently found a toggle for a 58 from macs that I think I can wire up and make work. I ordered it but I am waiting for it to arrive. I found one last year on ebay off a 55 tbird but it quit working after a few months. I got it working long enough to get the seat where I wanted it.

Very nice 55! The Power Seat Switches are available now ( Repro) from Macs Antique Auto.. 54-55. Interestingly they don't have them for 56 Ford.

I have a 55 fairlane victoria with power windows and a four way power seat. They must be fairly rare because I had a hard time finding a replacement seat switch.

It's dependable now, but it wasn't operable for the first 20 years I owned it. It was rebuilt when I did a mechanical restoration of the car with a mechanic. We replaced one of the motors and some of the wiring. I do get a little movement of the seat back and forth on the passenger side when stopping.

Its supposed to be a 4 way like yours. Have You found yours to be dependable or have You had to do any repairs etc? I am sure You don't move Yours much if You are the only Driver. Just curious as I have no Experience at all with these.

Sounds like a nice car. I'm curious about the power seat. I've got a '54 Merc ragtop with a 4-way power seat (up-down, foward-back). Is the seat in the '56 a 2-way or 4-way?

I enquired about that One before it was listed on Ebay. The current Owner bought it as it is now and did some Work on it.It has been sitting where it is now for over 14 Months. Outside. He never did get it on the Road. Its a good deal for someone who can pick it up where it is. Not worth the aggravation and Expense of getting it shipped to Me in Canada. Right off the bat the exchange rate is 25% more in C$. I imported the One I have now about 10 Years ago from Florida and it ended up not being worth what it cost Me in the end. Better for Me to find One already in Country if at all possible..
