Well a week today I will be heading out for Columbus, I am going to assume that my buddy Lon is well on his way if not already in L.A. Bob Martin has informed me that unfortunately his merc will not make it this year. Just to keep the rivalry going, is anyone that is coming to Columbus, willing to let Lon take his / her car down the track so we can have our "International Shoot-out"? It only has to be one pass in time trials on Friday so we could have our match race. My car is capable of low 17's / high 16's, so a comparable car would make a great heads up race! I would hate to see "OLD Lonnie" come ALL that way again and not have me kick his butt for another year!!!

If there are any takers, please let Bob Martin or myself know. If no one can come up with a car for Lon, I guess Lon and I will have to run the quarter on foot! (reminds me of Taladega Nights!)  Now that would be a test of enderance, to see who drops from a heart attack first! I think I can take him though, I maybe fat and old, but I still have stamina!!!!!
