Tedster, that carb I posted a pic of 3 years ago is a '64 2100 with 2 check balls. They both measure .1875".  Chances are the earlier 2100 would be the same size and the book makes no reference to size.  In the booster venturi there are 2 anti-syphon holes for the purpose of bleeding off any fuel vapors that may result from a hot soak after shutdown. Those anti-syphon holes are not for the pump system but if plugged, can cause some dripping from the main venturi. I don't remember which holes they are. Also , too high a fuel level can add to this problem.   In the 1st post, the illustration showing all the parts, make sure call-out #8 is in there. That "weight" helps to quickly seat the discharge check ball and keep it seated.  Hope this helps, JEFF....................

Thanks for the info, Jeff. It's tougher to find info on these, than the later types.

There's always a spot of wet fuel on top of the screw area that holds the discharge cluster, almost as if it's maybe loose. Maybe that's typical operation, but the innards and gee gaws are all present and accounted for, and everything is tight, and orifices clear. Great carbs and easy to work..

If you are in need of one or both check balls I could probably find them in my stash of stuff.
