Does anyone know if the paint for wheel rims on a 1956 Ford Fairlane should be the same as the body color or should they be black?  The body color on my 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan is colonial white.

In 56 TBirds, the wheels were body color, inside and out.  I believe the sedans were the same.

My ’55 Customline wheels came from the factory painted the same as the body color.  When I did the repaint (third time now), I kept the wheels the same color as the car.

My spare in the sedan has never been on the car and it is body color on the outside and a shiny black on the inside.

That's right - 57's were different than the 56's.
