Im trying to find out some infomation about what size clutch master and slave cylinder a 1964 f100 used ..as its 272 y block with a 3 speed manual ....
I bought it as part of a project hotrod ...the clutch master im using at the moment is from a 70 series landcruiser..
It works but putting it in 1st after a morning start up crunches the gear...was just thinking that maybe its not disengaging enough...
Or is a common problem with the old 3 speeds (3.03)

You’re probably on the right track, but I’ve had more than one non synchro 3 speed that did that. A little bump into the second gear synco to stop it from turning let me find first gear. More a sign of wear and age I always assumed.

A '64 F100 did not use a hydraulic clutch so you will not find that information.  The F100 will have a place on the firewall to mount the master cylinder and the bellhousing will have an ear for mounting the slave cylinder but the light trucks of that series never came with them.

I did get a setup for a larger early '60s truck, which does use a hydraulic clutch.  The master cylinder was NOS and has a 1 1/8" bore.  However, I have no way to know it was the correct master cylinder in the box.  The slave cylinder is 1". It worked is what I can say.

Do as Miker suggested, put it in 2nd first before trying to put it in 1st. Sometimes it's just the cold gear oil that keeps the gears spinning first thing in the morning. It could also be just adjustment and be sure it is bled good. F100 only used hydraulic clutches 57-60.

Cheers for the help guys..
The bellhousing had the slave cylinder still bolted to it so i just went with it...
I think i will just go with Miker's idea .......does seems to not make it crunch
