Mine was mashed into the firewall, the fan, midplate and heater motor were all damaged. Oddly enough the rest of the car doesn't look to have much other damage, so i'm not sure what happened. 

I'm not sure if the motor will interchange with the commonly available t-bird ones of that era, but i'm still out a fan and midplate. Someone out there must have adapted a unit that is commonly available? Otherwise i'm going to open every box at the local parts store and see if i can find something.
