Thanks to all that responded to my add for a oil pan I appreciate all that have contacted me. I made a deal with the first fellow that responded to my add. his price was very reasonable, and looked good in pictures. I think it was only fair to go with him.  I also think it an obligation on my part to let everyone who answered my add to let them know that I no longer need a pan at this time, but I will keep every one that had one for sale that contacted me in mind for the future when I build a few more engines..  Thanks everyone.-----Jim  ---Palmer Alaska

Y-Block Billy,   Thanks for the pictures .  I have closed a deal today with the first fellow who contacted me, and I have purchased a pan from him,  the one with the baffle in the pan with the 2 holes in the baffle is the one I was looking for.  I will keep you in mind if I need another one. we may be building another eng for a fellow in the club next spring.  we may be able to do business then if the guy decides to do a new eng. for his model a coupe.  out of curiosity how much are you asking for that pan? I will relay the price to him.   Thanks for taking the time to dig those out and for the pictures, I appreciate you taking the time.   ----Jim,   Palmer Alaska

NoShortcuts,  that looks like the right one. I have one now, but it does not have the oil dipstick provision in the pan. I would still need the pick-up and the outside tube. could be hard to come by.  I appreciate the tip , and will give it some thought. the price does seem good.  I am looking for one like the one I have ,for another eng. my brother is building for his '30 coupe  Thanks again for the heads up on this pan.------Jim

Jim.  I THINK this is the oil pan you're looking for.  The pan is N.O.S., but has some surface rust.  IF you look at the seller's pictures, one of the last pictures has a Ford label on it giving the Ford part number.

Click the link below to see the eBay listing.  IMO the Buy-It-Now price is GooD!

Hope this helps!   Smile
